01.07.2001 Dear J. I got the birthday card you sent me. It was such a plesant surprise! After waking up at 12:30 mom promissed not to go to work tonight so we can go out and have real food at a real restaurant.  I wore my best shoes and my best pants, i even put that silly blouse on. Ms. G said i looked so nice, and she was so happy for me. Mom had that red dress on and she looked like a real mom, so serious and tidy. We went to „El Aleman de Madrid", the little but pretty fancy restaurant on Esteban's street. Tackling her dress and elegantly swinging her purse, mom sat down at one end of the 2 people table. I admired her so much
